“ What a welcome treat to have Beethoven Market in the neighborhood! I've enjoyed three visits here so far: once for a full meal and twice for a quick drink at the bar. The team should be proud of their efforts; it feels like a place that has been open much longer than a week and a half. It's clear there is an effort being made to be a good space in the community. Prices are reasonable, the space is charming and comfortable, and the food and drink are delicious. There is something here for families, first dates, and everyone in between. Staff are earnest and authentically oriented towards providing a great experience for their guests. Reading other reviews, it appears some folks in the neighborhood are making an effort to review bomb this new business. It seems like they miss the corner store, or don't like the presence of a business with pm hours, or simply haven't accepted that change is the only constant. Regardless, it's worth giving Beethoven Market a try (reservations recommended!) and enjoying what this delightful addition to Mar Vista has to offer. ”

The staff was so accommodating, from the ladies at the front, to our lovely waitress Jessica, to the bussers... truly so unusual to find that in restaurants anymore. And the FOOD was amazing... I'm pretty particular and I can say everything that came to our table was really delicious. Rich is flavor, but not too complex, and pretty affordable. Thank you for a great night out... already made a new reservation for next week... ”

“ Beethoven Market is a small restaurant in a quiet neighborhood in Venice. The menu can best be described as “California Italian”, with pizzas, pastas, and entrees. First, there’s no valet parking. You’ll need to park on Palms Ave (and please don’t have loud conversations when passing people’s homes). The food reminds me a lot of Felix or Mother Wolf, and it’s outstanding! There’s a hopping bar inside, and lots of tables. It’s a little bit crowded and noisy. It’s actually brighter and quieter in the outdoor terrace, and they have outdoor heaters. The check was a lot less expensive than similar restaurants around LA! Highly recommended! Note: you may have to book a table a few weeks in advance for busy nights. Also note: the Cesar salad dressing is really fishy - really fishy. ”

The Cal-Italian fare and beautifully designed space make this an easy choice for all day dining. The stunning patio transports you to vacation land and the bar is perfect for a sexy date night, solo meal or catching up with friends. Don’t skip the meatballs and bolognese. Looking forward to coming for brunch once the menu and service expands. ”
“ Beethoven Market is an absolute gem. The staff is attentive, the food is great, and their commitment to community and keeping prices reasonable is very appreciated. We had the homemade focaccia with ricotta & honey, the olives, the meatballs (so unique!), the homemade pasta (cooked perfectly), plus a fabulous margherita pizza. For drinks, the thyme spritz, vesper dream martini, and chilled red wine were standouts. TIP: If you want to walk in but can’t get a table or seats at the bar, they let you order at the bar and hang out on the comfy benches around the tree on the patio. Great spot and I know we will be back many times. ”
“ So happy we’ve got this addition to the neighborhood. It’s so the type of restaurant that would be my regular because it’s affordable, delicious, friendly, and leaves you feeling good after (aka quality ingredients). Every item was delicious but some of my faves were: focaccia, squash blossoms, all the salads (arugula, Caesar, green bean, panzanella), clam pizza, and foglio pesto pasta. Proteins were very good as well. Desserts... excellent. Especially the sorbet compared to how much I normally like sorbet. 60/pp with drinks. 30-40pp without. ”
